Award-winning Whisky producer, Isle of Arran Distillers, has released a limited edition bottling of its Single Malt to commemorate the 250th anniversary (1759 – 2009), of the birth of Scotland’s national poet, Robert Burns, which takes place on 25th January 2009. A limited edition bottling of only 6,000 bottles distilled in 1998. Officially endorsed by the World Burns Federation – signatures and crest. The casks (15 ex-sherry hogsheads) for this bottling were hand-selected by the Distillery Manager, James MacTaggart, from the 1998 distillation. Beautifully presented in a rigid presentation box.
